Walt Disney World has released special room only discounts for Annual Passholders. You must check in during the travel dates, however, you can extend your stay past the ending date. Only the nights included in the travel dates listed above will be discounted. Availability is limited, though all resorts and room types are available. Some nights may not be discounted, and weekend prices may be slightly higher. The savings are as follows:

• Save 35% at Disney Moderate Resorts
• Save 42% at Disney Deluxe Resorts

Walt Disney World has released a new discount this morning, where guests who book a Walt Disney World Magic Your Way package that includes their park passes and Disney World resort will receive a Disney Gift Card at check in to use during their stay. The Disney Gift Card varies in value depending on your resort type:

• Disney World Moderate Resort – $300
• Disney World Deluxe Resort – $500
• Disney World Deluxe Villa Resort – $500

It appears as the base package is full price, the only “discount” you receive is the gift card. Minimum stay of 5 nights required. Please note this covers the same dates as the currently available Free Dining offer, which should be a better deal for most people, though we double check all available discounts for you.  Only the nights that are within the travel dates will be discounted. Your reservation can extend into the blackout dates, but only the nights during the available periods will be discounted. Rates may not be available all nights, and weekend nights may be higher priced.

Travel Dates: January 23 – March 20, 2011

Update 6/26/10 – Disney added April 17, 2011 10 night cruise to the kids free offer. The original dates sold out in a matter of days, this date should be gone very quickly, so book today  if you want to go.

Update 6/28/10 – All of the kids sail free cruises are now sold out. There are rooms that are opening from time to time, but they are few and far between. When they open, they tend to only be the veranda staterooms, and only during some of the off times (January and early February).

Disney Cruise Line has announced a promotion where kids 3 – 17 sail free on Mexican Riviera Disney Cruises during the travel dates above. These 7 night cruises sailing out of Los Angeles stop in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. In order to qualify for the kids sail free, each stateroom must have 2 full paying passengers, and you can have up to 3 free kids per stateroom, in a category 4 stateroom (2 free kids in other staterooms).

• Kids 17 and under sail free when traveling with two full-fare Guests in the same stateroom.
• Government Taxes and Fees not included, and must be paid for any free kids
• Offer applies to stateroom Categories 4 -11, suites are not included.
• Verification of age is required within 48 hours of booking for children who will be 17 years old by the sail date

There are a few requirements:

• You must book at least a three night stay, and your stay cannot be longer than 10 nights

• You must pay your $200 per room deposit at time of booking, you cannot “hold” a reservation
