Travel Dates: October 3 – December 25, 2010

Walt Disney World has released special room only discounts for Annual Passholders. You must check in during the travel dates, however, you can extend your stay past the ending date. Only the nights included in the travel dates listed above will be discounted. Availability is limited, though all resorts and room types are available. Some nights may not be discounted, and weekend prices may be slightly higher. The savings are as follows:

  • Save 30% at Disney Value Resorts
  • Save 35% at Disney Moderate Resorts
  • Save 42% at Disney Deluxe Resorts
  • Save 42% at Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts

  • Pop Century, standard room: $57 – $73 per night
  • Caribbean Beach, standard view room: $97 – $110 per night
  • Wilderness Lodge, standard view room: $168 – $210 per night

These prices are per night, and do not include the 12.5% room tax. Rates above are for Value – Regular Season. Rates from December 17 – 25, 2010 will be considerably higher, as they are holiday season.

Annual Passholders can also book a package that include these special nightly rates, and a Disney Dining plan, which is not discounted. An active annual passport will be required at check in to receive the discount. Please ask us for additional specials available during these travel dates.

The nights of November 24 – 26, 2010 are blacked out. Your stay can include these dates, but they will not be discounted. You will still be able to check in on one of the blacked out nights and receive this discount for the available nights. You must book this special discount by December 25, 2010.

Disney World Free Dining 2010/201116 Aug

Travel Dates: October 1, 2010 – September 29, 2011

Walt Disney World has extended the existing Free Disney Dining offer to cover dates through September 29, 2011. There are many black out periods that the discount does not cover.

Guests staying at a Disney World value resort will receive the Quick Service Dining Plan for free. Guests will be able to upgrade to either the Disney Dining plan or the Deluxe Disney Dining plan by paying the price difference. To upgrade to the Disney Dining Plan, the increased cost will be $10 per adult and $2 per child per night of your stay($11 per adult per night during 2011, there would not be any cost to upgrade kids). To upgrade to the Disney Deluxe Dining plan, guests will pay $40 per adult and $11 per child per night of your stay ($44 and $10 per night respectively during 2011 dates).

Guests staying at a Disney World Moderate, Deluxe or Disney Villa resort will receive theDisney Dining Plan included for free. Disney World guests at moderate, deluxe and villa resorts will also be able to book the “Free Dining”, and upgrade to the Disney Deluxe Dining for the normal price difference, which is $30 for adults and $9 for children three to nine ($33 and $10 respectively during 2011) per night of your stay.

Availability is extremely limited, and must be booked by December 20, 2010. It appears that all suites have been excluded from this offer, with the exception of the family suites at All-Star Music, which is included. All Disney resorts, including value resorts are included in the offer. Four night minimum stay required.

Disney World Free Gift Card16 Aug

Travel Dates – October 3, 2010 – February 16, 2011

Walt Disney World has released a new discount this morning, where guests who book a Walt Disney World Magic Your Way package that includes their park passes and Disney World resort will receive a Disney Gift Card at check in to use during their stay. The Disney Gift Card varies in value depending on your resort type:

  • Disney World Value Resort – $200
  • Disney World Moderate Resort – $300
  • Disney World Deluxe Resort – $500
  • Disney World Deluxe Villa Resort – $500

It appears as the base package is full price, the only “discount” you receive is the gift card. Minimum stay of 5 nights required. Check in dates from November 24 – 26 and December 26 – 31, 2010 excluded from discount. The Disney Quick Service, Disney Dining Plan and Deluxe Disney Dining Plan may be added to the package at full price.

Please note this covers the same dates as the currently available Free Dining offer, which should be a better deal for most people, though we double check all available discounts for you.  Only the nights that are within the travel dates will be discounted. Your reservation can extend into the blackout dates, but only the nights during the available periods will be discounted. Rates may not be available all nights, and weekend nights may be higher priced.

Update July 6, 2010 – Walt Disney World has extended the travel dates to cover through December 21, 2010. Availability for the new dates in October, November and December is very low, and many dates are blacked out. To travel during those months, you must check in between the following dates:

  • Aug. 15 – Oct. 7, 2010
  • Oct. 22 – Oct. 28, 2010
  • Nov. 12 – Nov. 18, 2010

Walt Disney World has announced the “Free Dining” promotion for the sixth consecutive year. Currently, the discount is only available to Disney VISA cardholders, though it will be released to the general public starting on Monday, May 3, 2010. With the “Free Dining” promotion, Disney resort guests who book a Magic Your Way package that includes both your Disney resort room and your Magic Your Way park passes, will receive one of the Disney Dining plan add-on for free for all guest three and older in their party. There are a few requirements:

  • You must book at least a three night stay, and your stay cannot be longer than 10 nights
  • You must include at least a two day Magic Your Way base ticket
  • You must pay your $200 per room deposit at time of booking, you cannot “hold” a reservation

  • Maximum of four Guests per room. (one child free with each paying adult)
  • Stays must be a minimum of 3 nights, but can be as long as 14 nights
  • At least a one day basic park pass must be included in the package, your tickets can be as long as 10 days.
  • Quick Service Dining is included free, but you can upgrade to the Disney Dining or Deluxe Disney Dining by paying the price difference
