Disney currently operates three water parks, including River Country, one of the first water parks in the world. Blizzard Beach is Disney's newest water park, and is themed after a snow covered mountain with toboggan rides and many big, fast water rides. There is are also areas for smaller kids. Typhoon Lagoon is centered around a large wave pool, and features surfing, a lazy river, a large kids area, water slides and even a place to snorkel with the fish. River Country is just like the good old swimming hole. comeplete with rope swing and water slides. Warning: River Country is closed for 2002, and there is no indication when or if it will re-open. |
