Walt Disney World, located in Orlando, Florida is the world's largest tourist desination. Featuring nearly 25,000 hotel rooms, 4 theme parks, 2 water parks over 100 restaurants and more than 50 swimming pools, Walt Disney World is a giant city itself. The average stay at WDW is 7 nights, and many don't ever leave the Disney Property. WDW is located 20 miles from the Orlando Airport, and can be reached by rental car, shuttle or car service. Walt Disney World Resorts are some of the most beautiful around. The services and quality varies from the All-Stars, which feature no-frills rooms, but great themes, up to the Grand Floridian, with wonderful rooms, views, service and easy access to the parks. Disney Transporation is free for those staying at any of the Disney Resorts. Theme Parks, including the Magic Kingdom, Disney-MGM Studios, EPCOT and the new Animal Kingdom Park. There is something for everyone. Guest Packages include anything from just your resort room all the way to all your meals, park passes and unlimited use of all recreation available on property. Downtown Disney is Disney's shopping area, kind of like a big outdoor mall, Disney style. It features stores, movie theaters, restaurants and Pleasure Island. Pleasure Island is Disney's nightclub area, and features many different clubs, from comedy to live music. Water Parks, Disney features two world class water parks in Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Each park features waterslides and water activities for all ages.
