You expect great entertainment when you go to Walt Disney World, and the musical acts are no exception.  Talented performers sing, play, and dance – and always add a little extra humor, excitement, and magic to their performances.  Here are our top ten groups to catch during your trip:

#10: British Revolution – This Epcot musical act can be heard from several countries away!  The British Revolution stage is located back in a London garden in the England pavilion, and the songs are covers of British Invasion hits from the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and more.  Grab a pint from the nearby Rose & Crown pub and rock out.

#9: Mulch, Sweat, and Shears – Gardeners-turned-rockers are jamming on the Streets of America at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  Their lawn maintenance truck is tricked out with speakers, drums, and electric guitars.  Get ready to rake n’ roll!

#8: YeHaa Bob Jackson at River Roost – Many guests make a special trip to the River Roost Lounge at Port Orleans Resort Riverside just to listen to this wacky pianist and entertainer.  He’ll have the whole family laughing and singing along to his musical antics.

#7: JAMMitors – At first glance you may think this trio is made up of three ordinary janitors keeping the Future World area at Epcot clean, but as soon as they start drumming unique beats on their tin trash cans, you’ll realize it’s a show!  They love to crack jokes and always collect a crowd.

#6:Trolley Show – Clang, clang, clang goes the Magic Kingdom trolley; it’s filled with energetic entertainers who just love walkin’ right down the middle of Main Street USA.  This cheerful show is just a few minutes long but worth catching.  It’s performed several times throughout the morning and is often themed for the seasons!

#5:Main Street Philharmonic – The Magic Kingdom’s marching band always looks spick and span when they step out, horns gleaming and drums booming.  I love the red and white uniforms – complete with plumes on the hats!  They play in locations throughout the park and have a great act to go along with great music.

#4: Voices of Liberty – This amazing a cappella group is a favorite with many Disney goers.  They perform in the American Adventure rotunda at Epcot, where the acoustics make their voices sound even more incredible!  “America the Beautiful,” “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” and “Let it Go” are just a few of the patriotic – and Disney! – songs you might hear.

#3: Burudika – When headed for the Kilimanjaro Safari ride at the Animal Kingdom, you may find a street party going on to welcome you to Harambe Village.  The tribal rhythms and drums of Burudika are a treat to listen to, and it’s hard to resist joining the fun and dancing!

#2: Grand Floridian Society Orchestra – Every afternoon at 4 pm, the Grand Floridian lobby comes alive with the sounds of a six-piece orchestra.  These talented musicians play ragtime and big band hits from the 30’s and 40’s as well as favorite songs from Disney movies.  Be sure to pay them a visit on the second floor if you have a request – or just to admire their array of instruments.  They trade off with the pianist throughout the evening.

#1: Dapper Dans – That classic Main Street USA atmosphere at the Magic Kingdom wouldn’t be the same without the brightly striped quartet, the Dapper Dans!  Their a cappella harmonies will make you swoon, and they sing both turn-of-the-century tunes and more modern hits.  If you’re getting your hair cut at the Harmony Barber Shop, you may even get a private serenade!

Be sure to check the Times Guide for the locations and times each group will be performing during your trip.
