In a continuation of Walt Disney World launching new low volume and high price experiences for guests, Disney has announced a new one today – Savor the Savanna: Evening Safari Experience. In the past few months we have seen the Disney Early Morning Magic – Fantasyland and the Disney After Hours launched, both located in the Magic Kingdom. While reviews on both of those events have been mixed, that has not stopped Disney from trying another one at Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park.
Savor the Savanna: Evening Safari Experience
The Savor the Savanna: Evening Safari Experience allows you to welcome the evening at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park with a private safari, African tapas, all-inclusive beverages and more.
Once you hop aboard a private safari vehicle, you will journey deep into the heart of Harambe Wildllife Reserve. As the evening awakens, you will find yourself within one of the most secluded and breathtaking private viewing areas the Savanna has to offer. And, while savoring the scenery, you can indulge in a sampling of Africa-inspired tapas, paired with an all-inclusive selection of regional beers and wines.
A trained photographer will take photos throughout the adventure – a service that’s included with the tour. And, when the excursion comes to a close, you will receive a photo code you can use to access and download images taken during the experience. Plus, you will also receive a commemorative keepsake.
The cost is $169 per Guest (tax not included). Valid Theme Park admission is required, and each participant must be at least 8 years old. Each experience is limited to a maximum of 12 Guests. Inclement weather conditions and other factors may affect schedules, and offerings are subject to change without notice.
