This was the first trip my husband and I planned to Disney World with little ones so we were looking to plan a magical first time visit for them (6 and 4) and visit all of the parks over the course of a week. I could not have planned this vacation without Dana! I wanted to plan a trip for our family before my husband’s deployment. I was feeling overwhelmed…..especially with the whole Genie system! We have been to Disney a few times pre-pandemic but were having difficulty keeping up with all the changes, plus it had been a few years since we had gone and our priorities were different than 5 years ago. Lindsey was able to answer all my questions and helped us find and book a stay at a resort I never would have even looked at. This was our first real family vacation. We really had no clue where to begin. We knew we wanted to go on a Disney vacation but we weren’t sure if we wanted to go to Disneyland or Disney World. With all the mandates California had in place we decided we wanted to go to Florida, but we didn’t know how to even start. So I googled travel agents. I read reviews on Dana Kidd and I was really hoping she was my agent when I asked for a quote on a package. And sure enough she was assigned as our travel agent. Dana was very helpful, she basically took care of everything. She gave us options on different packages and when I asked for her opinion she didn’t hesitate to let me know what she thought. My family of 3 just got back from a weeks vacation to Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando which was all planned out for us by Kelly at Mouseketrips. I am so glad I found out about the company and had Kelly to help us throughout this journey! We planned it about 9 months ago. Kelly let us know when it was time to book restaurant reservations, character interactions etc. She got us fast passes for all the best rides, which in itself was priceless. To ride Avatar Flight of Passage it was a 2 hour line, but only waited 20 minutes! These passes made all the difference in our experiences at the parks. I called these folks the first time and I guess they thought I wanted to plan a trip so I got a call back immediately. Once I explained that I didn't want to travel, but that I wanted to be a travel agent I was told to call the original number back. I've done so 4-5 times and left 4-5 messages with no response. I understand if you don't want to hire people, but just call back and let me know. Not upset, just disappointed. Working with Nikki once before, my future husband contacted her to surprise me for my 30th birthday. She is BY FAR the only planner we will use moving forward, as she completely outdid herself! She booked everything for us, hooked us up with an amazing STANDARD room that ended up having a savanna view and offered insight and input into what reservations would be best for us. Biggest perk - fast passes! We didn't have to worry about them at all. She is fabulous! She suggested we book a double stroller and have if delivered to the hotel which was a fabulous idea. I originally started out as the coordinator of 4 families, for a Disney Cruise. After hard work looking for a travel planner, I landed at Mousketrips and with Laura. After five long months of planning, I stepped down and allowed another family member to take the reigns and they booked with another company. I said all of that to say this, Laura was incredible. Dana helped us pick the right resort, book all our tickets, suggest great restaurants for our family, helped us plan our itinerary for the week, what fast passes to get and when, and made sure we did everything on time so we got the best selection of everything. When I had a question, I usually had a response within an hour...even in the middle of the night. During our trip we never spent more than 15-20 minutes in a line and had fast passes for all the right rides at the right time. Please run! Don’t book with this company. I booked one trip with them to Disney and I pretty much had to do everything on my own any how. It was the worst. I should have gotten paid. Not my travel agent. I figured I would give it ago with a different agent. That agent was worse then the first! I asked her a couple of questions and being I did not understand what she was saying to me she she said well I can’t work with you! That was a total wow factor. Just because yo don’t understand what is being said and you ask them to explain it, the agent says they can’t work with you?
I made contact with head office and told them what happened. I herd crickets! There was no follow up and nothing was done. I should have ran the first time. Instead of giving the company a second chance. I did not know how many travel companies did Disney until several recommended later!

If you’re asking yourself if you should use a travel agent, the answer is: YES!!!

This is my first time using a travel agent and it has been the best experience.

Starting off Mousketrips made it super easy to fill out a quote form. They get back to you quickly. I heard back in less than 24 hours!

My agent is Irene Vane and she has been super helpful. Although this is my third Disney cruise, this is the first one I actually booked so it was a lot to think about and Irene has made it super easy.

To begin, she showed me different room types and their price. She also included the price of two stateroom (at my request) which was super helpful.

Every time I had a question she was able to help and answered. Even when she was on vacation, I was able to get an answer from her quickly and if there was something I needed something done, she did it as soon as she back home.

She was able to get my family the Disney + deal which is a super great deal and had I not booked with a travel agent we probably would missed out.

We haven’t set sail yet but I already booked my Disney World trip with her for next year!

It costs no extra to book with an agent so do it!

The magic of our Disney family trip last week last week began the day Dana (Dana Kidd with Mouseketrips) became our Disney Travel Agent. I have planned and executed our Disney trips in the past and will never do it again without Dana. She knows all the insider tips to create the perfect vacation for her clients like close-together rooms for the three families in our group in our favorite and hard to reserve resort. She made difficult dinner reservations and special experience reservations as well reservations with a wonderful car service for getting to and from the airport using her knowledge of all personnel and situations involved. This is knowledge and access we would not necessarily have, especially considering the very narrow window of reservation availability. Dana quickly answered all our questions about all things Disney and especially about the stressful new Genie plus system. The trip got canceled once cause of Covid and we had to cancel once and Catherine Padron took care of it both times and rescheduled our trip twice and never had a problem getting it done.
