What “Authorized Disney Vacation Planner” means
An Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is a travel agency recognized by the Walt Disney Company for its experience and expertise in planning Disney vacations. Mouseketrips holds that designation, though we are not an agent of the Walt Disney Company or its affiliates.
Every Personal Travel Expert on our staff is a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge, a program administered by the Walt Disney Company that tests and verifies a travel agent’s knowledge of Disney travel. Graduates have demonstrated in-depth understanding of Disney theme parks and attractions, hotels and resorts, restaurants and dining, Disney Cruise Line, and the rules and regulations that govern Disney travel.
Why we started Mouseketrips
Mouseketrips was founded in 2002 by lifelong Disney fans who kept getting the same questions. Friends and family knew we went often, so they asked us how to choose a resort, when to go, and how to find a deal. We also kept hearing from people who’d come back disappointed, having overpaid or missed something they’d have loved, simply because nobody told them.
So we built the thing we’d been doing informally for years: a place where families could hand off the complicated parts and still get the trip they wanted. We’re headquartered in the Salt Lake City, Utah area, nowhere near a Disney park, which has never slowed us down. The goal is for you to feel the Disney magic before you ever get to the gate.
