Travel Dates: January 8 – March 5, 2011

Disney Cruise has announced a special Kids Sail Free on select Caribbean Disney Cruises during the travel dates starting January 8, 2011 through March 5, 2011. Book a verandah stateroom and kids ages 17 and under, traveling with two full-fare Guests in the same stateroom, sail FREE on most 7-night Caribbean cruises.

Not all cruises may be available, and the 7 night cruise starting February 19, 2011 is not available. The last kids sail free offer sold out completely in a few days, so act quickly if you are interested. This special is only available on the 7 night cruises sailing out of Port Canaveral, and only on veranda staterooms.

      @Candy – Technically, it has expired, but expiration is really based on availability on this one rather than an ending date. At this point, I am not showing any availability at all, though it is possible that could change in the future. Unlikely, but possible.

    Are there any Mediterranean cruises that offer the kids sail free program? Or any spots available to any destination?

      @Jeni – At this point, there are not currently any kids sail free offers available, all have expired or have filled up. There were some kids free on the early Mediterranean cruises for 2010, completely possible we may see the same for 2011, we will just have to wait and see.

    We’re interested in a kids sail free offer for 2012 for a bahamas 5 day cruise – when does disney typically start running the promotions for the following year?

    @Jimmy – Typically, kids sail free and other offers are released 3 – 6 months before cruise dates, on cruises that are not filling up. It would be extremely unlikely to see any discounts on the 5-night 2012 Disney Cruises, those are extremely popular, and almost all of them are on track to be sold out fairly soon.

    Is it likely there will be any “kids sail free” promotions in January 2012 for the Bahamas or Caribbean? Or for any months for that matter?

      @Kim – Probably unlikely. The Dream has been super popular, and in January, the Fantasy will not yet be out. It may be possible on the 7 night cruises on the Magic, not on the Dream though.

    I am looking for a 4 night Bahama cruise on the Dream for the last week of March 2012. When I do a search online it says there are no available cruises. Does this mean that they are already sold out? Will they open up any staterooms closer to the date?

    @Melanie – That is because there isn’t one. The end of March, there are only 5 night cruises on the Disney Dream. At this point, they appear to pretty full, but not sold out. I would suggest you submit a request for a cruise, one of our great agents will be able to help you find prices and availability.
