Contemporary Standard Room Layout
Description: Disney’s Contemporary Resort features a large A shaped tower with rooms on either side, and the lobby in between. The monorail passes through the lobby, which is a constant amazement for children. The resort has recently been refurbished, and is now up to date in a very contemporary style.
Amenities: Disney’s Contemporary Resort features a newly designed pool with waterslide, a white sand beach, as well as boat rental, a tennis center, convention center, health club and large indoor arcade. Childcare is available at the Mouseketeer clubhouse for children aged 4-12.
Rooms: Standard rooms are approximately 422 Square Feet, and feature either a King and a day bed, or two Queens and a day bed, a sitting area and private balcony. Rooms feature either a standard view or garden view. Many tower rooms feature views of the Magic Kingdom. Concierge service is also available, as are deluxe rooms and one and two bedroom suites.
Transportation: The Contemporary Resort is located on the monorail, and is within walking distance to the Magic Kingdom. The monorail serves the Magic Kingdom, and you may transfer the the ECPOT monorail at the Ticket and Transportation Center. There is also bus service to Disney-MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom Park and Downtown Disney directly from the resort.
Cost: Standard view rooms start at $234 during value season up to $334 during the Holidays. Garden view rooms start at $265 during value season up to $370 during the Holidays. Other rooms are available.
