Grand Floridian Standard Room Layout
Description: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is the crowning jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort System. It is modeled after the grand resorts that were built on Florida’s Gulf shore during the early 1900’s. This is the consummate guest experience, featuring the graciousness of a bygone era in a stunning world of Victorian charms and pampering service.
Amenities: The resort features a white sand beach, new pool with waterslide and waterfall. There is also full service child care in the Mouseketeer Clubhouse and a full service Spa onsite.
Rooms: Standard rooms are approximately 400 Square Feet, and feature either a King or two Queen size beds, a day bed, small desk, sitting area and private balcony. Rooms feature either a garden or water view. Suites and larger rooms are available. Concierge service is also available.
Transportation: The Grand Floridian Resort is located on the monorail, and is the closest resort to the Magic Kingdom. The monorail serves the Magic Kingdom, and you may transfer the the ECPOT monorail at the Ticket and Transportation Center. There is also bus service to Disney-MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom Park and Downtown Disney directly from the resort.
Cost: Standard Garden view rooms start at $329 during value season up to $499 during the Holidays. Water view rooms start at $390 during value season up to $575 during the Holidays. Other rooms are available.
