WDW Disney VISA Free Dining 2009

Travel Dates: August 16 – October 3, 2009

Walt Disney World has just announced the “Free Dining” promotion for the fifth consecutive year. Currently, the discount is only available to Disney VISA cardholders, though it will be released to the general public starting on Monday, March 30, 2009. With the “Free Dining” promotion, Disney resort guests who book a Magic Your Way package that includes both your Disney resort room and your Magic Your Way park passes, will receive the Disney Dining plan add-on for free for all guest three and older in their party. There are a few requirements:

You must book at least a three night stay, and your stay cannot be longer than 10 nights
You must include at least a one day Magic Your Way base ticket
You must pay your $200 per room deposit at time of booking, you cannot “hold” a reservation

As it was in 2008, this year Disney World guests will also be able to book the “Free Dining”, and upgrade to the Disney Deluxe Dining for the normal price difference, which is $32 for adults and $10 for children three to nine. The Wine and Dine option is also available at full price to add onto either the Basic or Deluxe dining plans.

Availability is extremely limited, and must be booked by July 26, 2009. It appears that all suites have been excluded from this offer, though all resorts, including value resorts are included. To receive the Disney VISA cardholder discount, you must pay your deposit at time of booking with your Disney VISA. As a reminder, this exact discount will be released on March 30 to the general public without the Disney VISA requirements.

Booked our first trip with the family to Disney through Dana @ Mouseketrips. Dana helped us pick the right resort, book all our tickets, suggest great restaurants for our family, helped us plan our itinerary for the week, what fast passes to get and when, and made sure we did everything on time so we got the best selection of everything. When I had a question, I usually had a response within an hour...even in the middle of the night. During our trip we never spent more than 15-20 minutes in a line and had fast passes for all the right rides at the right time. I originally started out as the coordinator of 4 families, for a Disney Cruise. After hard work looking for a travel planner, I landed at Mousketrips and with Laura. After five long months of planning, I stepped down and allowed another family member to take the reigns and they booked with another company. I said all of that to say this, Laura was incredible. This was my 2 young children's first trip to Disney World. I wanted it to be as close to perfect as possible so I decided to use a Disney travel agency. We used Brooke with Mouseketrips and she was amazing! She had such insight and suggestions that we never would have thought of. She suggested we book a double stroller and have if delivered to the hotel which was a fabulous idea. She suggested we order food from Vons and have it delivered to the hotel to bring into the park for snacks and water and even breakfast and that was a fabulous idea. She created an itinerary of the best rides and times of day to do the rides catered specifically for my 4 and 5 year old. Those were just some of the things. Our trip was incredible! Working with Nikki once before, my future husband contacted her to surprise me for my 30th birthday. She is BY FAR the only planner we will use moving forward, as she completely outdid herself! She booked everything for us, hooked us up with an amazing STANDARD room that ended up having a savanna view and offered insight and input into what reservations would be best for us. Biggest perk - fast passes! We didn't have to worry about them at all. She is fabulous! My family of 3 just got back from a weeks vacation to Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando which was all planned out for us by Kelly at Mouseketrips. I am so glad I found out about the company and had Kelly to help us throughout this journey! We planned it about 9 months ago. Kelly let us know when it was time to book restaurant reservations, character interactions etc. She got us fast passes for all the best rides, which in itself was priceless. To ride Avatar Flight of Passage it was a 2 hour line, but only waited 20 minutes! These passes made all the difference in our experiences at the parks. Debbie was absolutely awesome!! We've been to Disneyland a ton of times, but this was our first time to Disney World and on a Disney cruise and I felt completely lost!! Laura Trejo was a live saver when scheduling our trip to Disney World! She planned everything for me and made our trip wonderful! Whenever I contacted her she promptly responded and gave great tips! Our experience was much better having her help then other times I have went and did it on my own. Would definitely use Laura again and recommend her to family and friends!

We have used Catherine Padron for the past 2 trips and have nothing but praise for her services! Disney can sometimes feel overwhelming and stressful if not planned properly. Our first year my wife did all the planning and she was so burnt out she said she would never go again if she had to plan it. We were referred to Catherine by a relative and will never look back. Catherine at Mouseketrips is amazing! Our family of 15-7 kids and 8 adults-just returned from Disney. Catherine took care of everything for us from making our reservations at Disney Camp Fort Wilderness to making our meal reservations. She also had great advise on what to use our fast passes on. Do NOT go to Disney without Catherine at Mouseketrips!! Literally cannot say enough good things about her. She planned our trip to celebrate our Princess turning 6, from the hotel to dining reservations to fast pass management. Our app went down in the park and she was unfailingly available to help us figure out what we were doing and where we should be. Her recommendations for restaurants and attractions that our daughter would enjoy were spot on! Even my husband, who was initially Mr. Negative about using a travel agent, did a complete 180 and fell in love with Catherine while on the trip. Everywhere we looked it seemed we saw people who appeared to have no idea where they were going/what they were doing, waiting in ridiculously long lines or just generally looking dazed and confused. Each time Jim would look knowingly at me and say, "They should've called Catherine..." If you want to do anything Disney related, you simply MUST call Catherine. She was like our personal Fairy Godmother and I can't wait to plan our next trip with her!
