No. Mouseketrips is free to use. Disney pays us a commission, so you pay the same price as booking directly with Disney, and often less, because we apply every discount and promotion you qualify for, including ones you may not know about. That price includes your Personal Travel Expert’s planning, tips, and extras. That’s right: nothing, nada, zip, zilch, zero, the big goose egg.
Is Mouseketrips an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner?
Yes. Mouseketrips is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and has been a member of Disney’s Earmarked agency program since the program began. Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is a designation Disney gives to travel agencies that meet its standards for Disney sales volume, agent training, and customer service. It means our agents are trained through the College of Disney Knowledge, we book directly with Disney on your behalf, and you can verify our standing with the Walt Disney Travel Company. We’ve booked only Disney vacations since 2002, so this isn’t a side specialty; it’s the whole business.

How does Mouseketrips work?
You tell us about your trip, and we build and book a personalized Disney vacation for you at no charge. Here’s the process:

- Book. We make your reservation directly with Disney in your name.

What exactly do you help with? Just the booking, or the day-to-day planning too?

What can you book? Do you handle flights, insurance or ticket-only orders?
We can book your complete Disney vacation package: resort, park tickets, dining plans, and Disney Cruise Line sailings. We can also add travel insurance to protect your trip, and in many cases we can help with ground transportation options. We book Aulani, Adventures by Disney, and Universal, but not Disneyland Paris or any international Disney park. Our full list: Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani in Hawaii, Disney’s Vero Beach and Hilton Head Island Resorts, Adventures by Disney guided vacations, National Geographic Expeditions, and both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood. Can you add a Universal stay to my Disney vacation?
Yes. We book split-stay vacations that combine Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando in one trip, including hotels at both resorts, park tickets, and transportation between them. Since Epic Universe opened, this has become one of the most popular trips we plan. We’ll also give you straight advice on how many days each resort deserves based on your family’s ages and interests, so you don’t overpay for park days you won’t use. When should I book?
As a general guide, book 6 to 12 months ahead for Walt Disney World, 3 to 6 months for Disneyland, and as early as possible for Disney Cruise Line, where prices typically only go up as sailings fill. Disney releases resort and package availability roughly a year and a half in advance, and the most popular resorts, room categories, and staterooms sell out first. There’s no penalty for booking before a promotion is announced: every reservation includes Rate Guardian, so if a discount comes out later, we apply it automatically. And if it’s last minute, contact us anyway; we’ll find you the best available option.

Why can’t I get prices online?
Mouseketrips doesn’t publish automated prices because Disney vacations have too many variables for a single quote to be accurate. Resort, room category, dates, ticket type, dining plan, stateroom, and current promotions all change the price, and we’ve found that a one-size-fits-all number rarely matches what a family actually wants. Instead, you request a free quote and a Personal Travel Expert prices the trip that fits you, usually within a few hours, whether you’re a pack-every-minute Disney commando or someone who likes to stop and smell the roses. There’s no pressure and no upselling; we won’t sell you anything you don’t want.
Can I transfer an existing Disney reservation to Mouseketrips?
Yes. If you’ve already booked directly with Disney, we can transfer the reservation to Mouseketrips at no cost. We’ll review it in full, look for discounts you may have missed, suggest itinerary improvements, and add Rate Guardian price monitoring. From that point on, we treat it exactly like a reservation booked with us.
When is payment due for a Disney vacation booked through Mouseketrips?
Most Disney vacations require only a deposit at booking, with the balance due closer to your travel date. Your reservation is made directly with Disney in your name, so Disney’s payment terms apply. Your Personal Travel Expert will go over the deposit, due dates, and final payment requirements when you book. You can pay in full up front if you prefer.
Is there a Minimum trips size or budget?
No. There is no minimum trip length, group size, or budget, with one exception: we can’t sell standalone 1- or 2-day Walt Disney World or Disneyland tickets unless they’re part of a package. Whether you’re planning a one-night Disneyland getaway for two or a three-generation family reunion cruise, you get the same attention, expertise, and service. No trip is too small, no question is too basic, and no trip is too big either. We love a challenge.
Can I change or cancel a reservation booked through Mouseketrips?
Yes. Your reservation is made directly with Disney by Mouseketrips, so Disney’s standard change and cancellation policies apply. Your Personal Travel Expert will explain any deadlines or penalties when you book, and if plans change, we’ll work with you and Disney to minimize costs and walk you through your options.
What happens if Disney changes or cancels something on my trip?
We contact you with what changed, what your options are, and our recommendation, and we handle any rebooking with Disney for you. Disney occasionally adjusts things on their end: an attraction closes for refurbishment, a cruise itinerary changes, or, rarely, weather affects operations. Because our agents are notified as soon as changes are announced, we’re usually on it before most guests hear the news. If Disney offers rebooking options, credits, or compensation, we make sure you get everything you’re entitled to, and we make the phone calls so you don’t have to. Do I need help planning a Disney vacation, or can I do it myself?

Yes. We book every Disney Cruise Line ship, itinerary, and departure port, including sailings from Port Canaveral, Fort Lauderdale, Galveston, San Diego, New York, Singapore, Vancouver, and Disney’s seasonal and international departures. Itineraries range from 3-night Bahamas sailings with stops at Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay to 7-night Caribbean cruises, Alaska, Europe, Hawaii, transatlantic crossings, and special holiday and Halloween sailings.
